always hated the cops yell fuck them Ds..
Greg Oden will be the #1 pick in tonights draft. I think thats a good choice for Portland, they just need veteran leadership from the coaches and the point guard position.
It is Random Rap Week over at DJ Mike Bs blog. Definitely check out the site, as their is some excellent music to acquire over there.
Dwell magazine, goes to Phoenix to check out my home states (I come from the suburb Mesa) capital to see what is really good. That heat is always good.
My man Dave Nada just put out his summer mix entitled “Tear The MotherFucking Club Up”. Grab it here and get crunk, hyphy, go dumb, on your way to work this morning.
New Supreme Tees….Kel save up.
I was going to post a long opinionated piece about how I am no longer into arguing about hip hop and do people realy care and yada yada, BUT I just got some new records so its time for fire up the turntables.

la la la la, la lalalalalala
The homie DJ Fashen tears up LAX, and stays fly in the process.
Dallas Penn lets the world know that White (girls) Is The New Black….Yes sir!!
Erick Sermon - Just Like Music
Nevermind that TI & Luda fought, listen to Just Blaze at Table 50. Dude straight killed it with the real hip hop. This is how I’m going to rock @ Stock Exchange on Saturday night.
Last of the Mohicans aka People of New York
Gemini feat. Lupe and Pooh Bear - We On
In Washington D.C. the area of town known as Southeast is considered “the hood”. Every town has one and this is DCs area of town that has high crime, poor schools, and even less hope. Band In DC is a film that follows the Ballou High School marching band as they prepare for a competition out of state. This documentary chronicles the struggle it takes to stay together as a team and achieve your goal. If you can find this in your town/area watch it and get inspired.
A-Trak updated his blog and it chronicles his trips from Memphis to Cali and back to NY. Basically get on your grind so you can live your dreams like this cat is.
In this ESPN Mock Draft 5.0 Kevin Durant is should be the first player drafted. I’d take dude first, regardless of the team I had, but I didn’t Portland is going with Oden. Honestly these first 2 picks are can’t miss ones (although Odens offensive game is suspect).
Just found the USB chord to my digicam again. I’m feelin good about that. Anyhow DC will be documented visually again starting this weekend.
Peace.
inspired by Killa Kel and my man Jay Biz:

most of my cash came of caine….

Text A Tip? Cellular Snitching? I’m sure SOMEONE will get rich off that.
Zach Wolfe is the ill photographer. Dude definitely has paid his dues and shot some of the most prominent artists in “urban” music today. Check his site, learn something, and break out for Rebel XT (first spotted over @ Clips & Kisses).
So far this summer I’ve been out my fair share of times, and I’ve never seen cats acting a fool like this before. I was in Adams Morgan @ like 3 am on Sunday morning and couldn’t even get a slice of pizza due to drunk people, negroes trying to grab my jawn, and just an ugly atmosphere. Anyhow in the wake of a nasty shooting at a club in SW DC, local club owners are trying to maintain peace and retain calm for the citys night goers. I’m good on DJing and then catching a cab home.
This Fourstar Cooler has already been used to house many a cold one this summer. It was definitely a good investment and I suggest you order one today.
DC ripper (thats skate talk for a good skater) Daniel Kim has an interview up @ 48 Blocks. Definitely give it a read, as that kid is real dope and I’ve seen him skating around DC the past few years and he deserves all the shine and accolades he is getting.
Forbes.com has a Celebrity 100 List of the highest paid “celebs” from ‘06-’07. HOV!

we chillin, thats right we’re chilin…
Stones Throw Records creator and owner Peanut Butter Wolf is also a really dope DJ. He has a crazy collection that spans hella all genres and his ear and eye for talent is real dope. Anyhow dude is Djing 7 nights in a row at 7 different clubs in LA…..playing 7 different sets, each with completely different genres of music. Here is Wolfs recap of his first 3 nights. Shit sounds so ill, that’d be excellent to get that poppin somewhere out east.
Being that EVERYONE has a mac now, it seems as if Leopard will be the next necessary step for computer users these days (especially if it works with Serato). Read about Leopard here via CoolHunting. $129 for an OS upgrade isn’t a bad look at all.
more links shortly….

twerk (roll) stop (control)
Lets Talk About It….DeWitz in full effect!
This reads like Arenas wants to leave Washington however I don’t see him doing so, unless Phoenix gives him stupid money and Nash retires.
A Family Affair in the summer time is such a good look.
The Sopranos ties to the sports world…..I’m not a huge Sopranos fan, but this is interesting (and Jamie Lynn whatever can get it).
Lock your cars doors!! Geto Boys - Damn It Feels Good to be A Gangsta
Stretch Armstrong is back and is here to serve the masses!! This Biz Markie and Redman freestyle is such a good
