Ras Kass - Home Sweet Home

Whoeve wants to be the next mayor of D.C. is going to have to address the issues of affordable housing in the city, because D.C. is becoming a city (along with Montgomery County and Northern Virginia) that is eliminating the middle class and kicking the poor to PG County and places further from D.C. I mean I work 2 jobs and still have a problem finding a place to live in the city that will allow me to eat more than rice every month.

Scoop Jackson on Barry Bonds.

Back to the Banks 2005..Brooklyn stand up!!

Will MTV show it?

5 things to ask…

1. If “New York, New York” by the Dogg Pound is truly a “freestyle”, then dude gets top 10 status from me. After watching the vid 10 times in the past 2 days it is greatness personified by mid 90s west coast hip hop.

2. How did The Firm fail?

3. Will Kanyes success help Little Brother move any units of their “too intelligent” music?

4. Are you interested in “Trapped in the Closet” parts 6-12?

5. Will Ma$e, Olivia, M.O.P. or Mobb Deep flop for G Unit?

    1. what was the question?
    2. the concept was too convoluted. jay-z meeting nas, yes, because they are two titans who are supposedly on opposite sides of the coin. but here you have left, right, and center. and the album, save a few tracks, was shitty anyway.
    3. i think it might, but because they are so “intelligent”, it will be harder for them than say common who has more mainstream appeal.
    4. no. i wasn’t interested in 1-5.
    5. olivia is so non-descript… who gives a fuck? mase don’t know what to do with himself, m.o.p. needs to get their shit together like today even they are known for not hammering cats with albums and the same goes for mobb deep. m.o.p.’s “rock” album was sorta dope, though.

mtv will show it…controversy is good for ratings.

now as far as trapped in the closet goes…after seeing the mtv awards and hearing r kelly go on and on about chuck and rufus…i was sick of it but still sitting on the edge of my seat…and then i was disgusted with him. so basically im sick of it, but i still wanna hear whats going on with it so i can be disgusted. lol.

im my mind the addition of Mase alone has ruined the entire concept of G unit, are they trying to prove that they turn broken careers around?? am i the only one that remembers when olivia was talkin bout, “im about to bizzzounce??” i can see adding olivia, she cant sing but shes a pretty face…i can even see adding MOP and mob deep…but the artist formerly known as murda mase?? im not feelin it, but then again i only liked them (gunit) before they made the PIMP video…they just ruined that song adding people on it. i used to like 50 back in the day before everyone knew about him…now he just runs around sayin, “ugh +so seductive” so in my mind anything that says g or unit gets a thumbs down.
