I never was able to attend any type of summer camp as a youth because 1.) I was black and lived in Arizona and 2.) because i usually had basketball practice. However with an overabundance of youth wating their time away in the summer it is good to see kids enjoy and learn from an experience such as geneaology camp to learn about themselves, their ancestors, and their history. This is something that BET or the NAACP should be sponsoring all over the country, not Spring Bling or Ben Chavis running for office.
