What up Bloggers and Bloggettes? Its your usual Thursday editor coming to you on a Friday. I’ll let KB fill you in on last weekend’s activities as he was live and in the 206 for the last week or so. I know you all should be ready to get this weekend kicked off and in full swing so without further ado…
March Madness…
Okay if your brackets aren’t busted then you are some kin to Nostradamus or you borrowed the Delorean from Back to the Future. After the 1st round of the tournament it seemed like it would go near to form with only 2 lower seeds pulling “upsets” but then the shake up began in the 2nd round with mighty Kentucky, Gonzaga and Stanford taking losses. In my main bracket I had Kentucky winning the title so that caused some temporary heartache but those other popular picks tumbled so that helped.
My take on the 1st weekend of the tournament:
* the new Jordans are the sneaker of the tournament (for the Nike teams) as well as the Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4. I also like Louisville’s red TMacs..
* Is there a more disappointing team than Arizona? Oh yea, Gonzaga and Stanford
* Jameer Nelson is that deal…watched him come down and start the game off with 3 tough jumpshots…
* Syracuse’s Hakim Warrick can dunk ANYTHING inside the lane
* Providence’s Ryan Gomes is very real…no help from the supporting cast gets you a early exit though.
I’m ready for the Sweet 16 to kick off…Since my bracket is shot I can’t wait until Duke loses…shout out to Menage…remember Indiana-Duke 02′??

In the midst of all the attention given to Ludacris and his Splash Waterfalls rmx let me give props to a West Coaster who used that Tony, Toni, Tone sample back in 1998 on his Mr. Mafioso album on track #16 “My Past-time”. Shout out to Killa Tay…check it out people it’s a tough track…
I think the Goapele song is called Closer…I think it is real big down in California. Its a cool cut though…check it out
The commercial game is pretty entertaining right now starting with the Nike joint where the athletes are playing sports other than what they get paid for…Vick playing hockey?? sick…
